I'll second the Trawlerman on Upper Street and the Golden Fryer on 
Theobalds road.

There's also somewhere called The Dining Plaice on Berwick Street market 
that's pretty good and there's the North Sea Fish Restaurant on 
Leigh Street, WC1H 9EW which is famed for its haddock.

For more "upmarket" (not necessarily better) The Rock and Sole Plaice 
on Endlell Street and The Harry Ramsdens near Picadilly might be worth a 
try.
