I just drizzled some Giusti 6 year balsamico onto my leftover
strawberries (leaves removed, then halved; cut side up), and set it
into the fridge to eat after lunch. However, I forgot about them till
this morning. So I had balasmic-marinated strawberries rather than
balsamic drizzled.

They were sublime. This lends itself more to a sorbet, however. Or a
swirl of balsamic reduction in a (strong) strawberry ice cream.
